The Oyster Inn is the perfect venue to host your next event. 

Whether it’s a corporate celebration, milestone birthday, or a beautiful wedding, gather colleagues, friends, and family to celebrate in relaxed island-style with delicious food and wine to match. 

Chef and owner Josh Emett’s delicious menus offer a wide range of options to suit a broad range of tastes and budgets, and our events team will look after you from start to finish. 

From a post-wedding "recovery brunch" to having a group reunion the Inn's central location and proximity to the ferry make us not only a delicious choice but convenient too.

For larger parties, choose to celebrate in our main dining room; or gather family and family for more intimate gatherings in The Pearl Room, our private event space.

    The Pearl Room.

    The Pearl Room, our private event space, features a private verandah with views across the bay. The Pearl has a capacity to host 36 guests for a seated lunch or dinner. The room is equipped with a large 50-inch hidden television for presentations or birthday party slide shows. Guests can also play their own music linked to our sound system. A flipchart is available on request.

    Chef and owner Josh Emett has created several delicious set menus to suit different budgets and needs. From intimate weddings to a post-wedding 'recovery brunch', the Pearl Room will host your friends and colleagues in coastal island style.

    Weddings.

    The Oyster Inn’s main dining room can be booked for weddings and private functions for up to 90 guests. With marine blue floors, classic bentwood cane chairs & tongue-and-groove panelling, The Inn evokes timeless, seaside sophistication with a nod to classic, bach style of yesteryear. 

    Get married on the beach just below the Inn and pop back up for a reception at the Inn!  Barefoot dress code's fine by us!

    Corporate Functions.

    Whether celebrating a corporate milestone, hosting staff team building seminar or your annual staff party our corporate menus offer a wide range of options to suit all tastes and budgets. 

    We’re just a few minutes from the passenger ferry terminal and in the centre of Oneroa village, so it's easy to get here from Auckland. 

    Why not host the perfect “away day” with fun activities down on Oneroa beach – just a short walk from the Inn -  and follow on afterwards with cocktails and dinner at the Inn? We have relationships with companies specialising in team building and Josh can be booked to present menu or teach the team to shuck an oyster!
